Pam Colby is a widow and single parent of a 13 year old son. She has a degree in Secondary Education from Easter Michigan University and was working toward a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at EMU. She is certified to teach Physical Education in K-12, History in 9-12 and all subjects in 6-8.

Ms. Colby worked as a teacher at St. John the Baptist in Dearborn Heights for 9 years teaching 8th grade, all subjects, and 6th and 7th grade, Math and Science. She also substituted in the public school system for 2 years in the Plymouth-Canton, Wayne-Westland, Garden City and Lincoln Park School Districts. Ms. Colby also has extensive experience in sales, business management, and has operated a brick and mortar wall covering business with her late husband.

Pam currently operates an online business called USA Border & Murals and also is the Office Manager for St. Helen Power Sports. Ms. Colby has been involved in numerous community activities including volunteering as Secretary of the St. Helen Bluegill Festival for 3 years, previously co chairing and currently chairing the Kids Rodeo and Blind Obstacle Course for the ATV Jamboree and currently Secretary of the St. Helen Chamber of Commerce. She has also been a member for 3 years of the Christian Black Belt Association Shiho Karano Ryu Karate at the 6th Kyu Grade of Karate working towards a black belt.
